How do I add a pet?
Tap the "+" button on the Home screen or go to the Pets tab and tap "Add Pet." Fill in your pet's name, species, breed, and birthday.

How does the AI Wellness Plan work?
Navigate to your pet's detail page and tap "Generate Wellness Plan." Our AI creates personalized nutrition, exercise, and mental stimulation recommendations based on your pet's breed, age, and health data. These are informational only and not a substitute for veterinary advice.

Is my data secure?
Yes. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All connections are encrypted. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?
Go to Account → Privacy Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data including pet profiles, health records, messages, and community content. This action cannot be undone.

Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Account → Export My Data to download a complete copy of all your information including pet records, health logs, and community activity.

Is AI-generated content accurate?
AI features like wellness plans, symptom analysis, and food scanning are for informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns.

What permissions does the app need?
Camera (for food label scanning and pet photos), Photo Library (for uploading images), Location (for finding nearby vets and lost pets), and Contacts (for sharing pet profiles). You can control each permission individually in your device settings.
